Geography

Worldwide

Context

The B4IG coalition is gathering 35 large companies to foster new business practices contributing to a more inclusive growth. The social and environmental footprint of corporation is also within the procurement activities. Many underprivileged small local economic actors don’t have the possibility to access to market link to the supply chain of those large companies. How could we support the design and deployment of inclusive procurement strategy and approach.

Solution

Based on leading companies best practices co-design with B4IG team an Inclusive Sourcing guide to help firms to assess their procurement social dynamic and design relevant action plan to integrate underprivileged communities into their supply chain.

InclusEO’s work was structured around 4 main steps:

  1. Capitalize on the L’Oréal Solidarity program to structure the backbone of the guide.
  2. Review existing practices from the companies engaged into the B4IG Working Group on Inclusive Sourcing approach to illustrate the different methodology steps.
  3. Design and formalize the Inclusive Sourcing Guide.
  4. Onboard all B4IG relevant stakeholders to facilitate the guide communication plan
